I'll start. While sick with the flu, I receive a text, no warning, no greeting, from the manager. a termination letter, a week before my probation is up. Out of the blue. no write up. no verbal coaching. I had zero idea my job was in jeopardy. if anything, I had praise and gratitude from my co workers and management. I believed I was going to work there for a long time. I purchased new attire for the position. was brushing up on a second language to help more customers. went above and beyond my role to find out in a text I wasn't "the right fit" and didn't exhibit the expected progress. when it took the company two months to get my workstation sent to me. I was working in my roll without error or complaints for a month. No concern about my well being. no apology. my phone call and emails remain unanswered by the company regarding this. They mailed my personal affects to me.
