A couple of days ago I posted on here about how I've been going through homelessness for the past almost year and how I've gotten a job interview last week and became anxious over it. Well, I got the phone call and I'm on the team!
There are some things I do think I need to figure out before I start working. Since I'm homeless it'll be hard for me to pull some of this off, but it's gotta be done. I made too much progress, I'm beyond the point of no return now.
Gotta figure out how to keep myself looking and, more importantly, smelling presentable. Being out in the summer heat all day and night makes it more difficult but now it's never been more important. Transportation is something I need to figure out too, as well as where to put my belongings when I work because I can't bring them into the facility.
It's gonna be tough to be honest, but the hard part is just making it to the first paycheck really. Once I do that fingers crossed it'll be smooth sailing going forward.
This is my chance. My opportunity.
