Hey guys,
working for a family business with about 30 employees. There is no HR department, and all the managers are friends of the owner.
Last week I heard them talking about another employee saying how unmotivated he is because he is fat. I have heard other things as well, and am just waiting to hear something about me soon.
Needless to say I am upset that I have wasted my time at a trashy place like this.
Anyone else with similar experiences with family run businesses? I am heading back to the corporate world. I know that people talk shit everywhere, but being so out in the open about it is bugging me.
