I have been unemployed since March 2025 and I am starting to freak out. I can’t land anything and I’ve applied to every job I’m remotely qualified for but every interview I have is painful. I used to work on the business side of scientific and engineering research, negotiating partnerships and contracts but I’m close to just throwing it all away to teach science because I’m running out of money. I’m worried I won’t find anything if the gap in my resume grows anymore and I’m feeling worse every day
