Trying to get a job is making my depression 100x worse.

Context: I am a recent graduate from a top American university. I graduated in May with my bachelors degrees in Data Science, and everyone I spoke to told me I should have no problem finding a job because it’s such a growing field.

Fast forward 5 months (and even more because I have been looking since January) and I still can’t find anyone willing to take me. Everyone wants someone with multiple years of experience, and even my research, internship, and multi year part time job with some relation to my field aren’t enough to get anything. I thought I was close last month when I went through all 4 interviews an employer disclosed was in their process, and they sent me a generic response with no customization a few days later.

I’ve always struggled with depression. But at this point I’m not sure this is a fight I’m willing to keep putting up. I’ve considered going back and getting my master’s, but I fear I will just be back in this position after getting it and have shelled out tens of thousands of dollars for another useless piece of paper. If anyone has any advice on how to keep going, or even wants to give me advice on my resume via dm I’d be happy to hear it.
