I’ve been searching for weekends only, obviously part time as I have a stable main job and I make that clear. But everyone wants Monday-Friday availability which is when I work my main job. And they give just under full time status, 30-35 hours. I found one job at a grocery store that would hire me and even they were on the fence about it. And the rejections are all the same “your availability doesn’t match our needs” for every store.
5-10 years ago anyone with a pulse could walk into a grocery store and could expect to work weekends. what is going on?
