As stated in the title, my workplace isn't going to approve an October request I submitted in August for my wedding and honeymoon. My workplace is objectively toxic in every manner. I could write an entire post just on that alone. Anyway, I submitted my "request" and everyone knows I'm getting married including management.
Yesterday I was told that they don't think they can approve my request. When I told them one of the days requested is my actual wedding day and that we have travel plans. All I got was a "sorry" maybe the wedding day. I intend to call off on every single day because this is our wedding and honeymoon. They are not ruining it. Unfortunately I am fully prepared to lose my job over this. Which doesn't feel right.
Does anyone have any thoughts or advice? Or has been in a similar situation?
Edit: my request is for 7 days.
