Told them I was leaving and they just pretended I didnt say it

I work as the only person handling all the scheduling and booking for a small events company. I gave my notice two weeks ago. Every client every vendor every calendar every contract goes through me. Ive been doing this for almost four years now making about 19 an hour with raises that were basically insults, like maybe 30 cents a year if I was lucky.

Back in december I asked for a bump to 25 because I know what this role pays at other places and Im way under. They came back with 20 and acted like they were doing me a huge favor. I said no thanks and handed my manager my resignation letter. She read it and then looked at me and said I appreciate the gesture but we cant accept this right now.

I thought she was joking but she wasnt. She said the timing doesnt work because we have a full spring calendar and losing me right now would put the whole operation at risk. She said lets revisit tis after the busy season and maybe we can work something out then.

Every single day for the past two weeks I have reminded her that my last day is friday. Every single day she has told me some version of you cant leave right now or lets not be hasty about this or we really need you to stay through at least april. She even brought up that if I leave and things fall apart it could reflect badly on me in the industry which felt like a threat honestly.

Yesterday was my last day and I didnt say anything about it. I just finished my shift did my work and went home like normal. This morning I woke up to eleven missed calls and a bunch of texts asking where I am and if Im running late. I havent answered any of them.

She also mentioned at one point that if I dont help transition someone into my role they might have to look into what my contract says which I know is nonsense because I dont even have a contract I never signed anything like that.
