Got called into the office yesterday for “being in a mood”.
When the manager asked what was up I told him that I used to be a technician on £3 more than everyone else until I got moved into the warehouse and dropped to just above living wage.
I told him that I’m honestly looking for other jobs because I feel like I’m stagnating here and the next pay review will most likely be another 3-4% like last year.
I told him I’m seeing jobs I’m qualified for being advertised for £30-£40k and jobs the same as I do now being advertised for £2 per hour more.
He said he can understand my frustration and would be doing the same in my shoes.
Can’t tell if he was being supportive or dismissive.
