Hey there! I am applying as an Executive Operations Partner for an early stage aerospace company and I over prepared (researched their competitors, each the executives I will be supporting, business stage, the major projects in the foreseeable future, etc) and as i explained my background I saw the interviewer become disengaged.
The recruiter did have to reschedule me for the second round interview and even then the interviewer (COO) was seven minutes late to the interview and she ended the interview 15 minutes early. This is a second round interview, if I move forward there will be one more rounds of interviews. And I also had the flu and was concentrating very hard not to sneeze or cough for the entire interview.
At the end of the interview I asked if there was anything from my profile that raises any concerns or red flags and she smiled very politely and said “No, not at all.” Once we said our goodbyes she ended the call.
I don’t know if she reviewed my resume and professional experience and decided to not move forward or if something did happen and she had to focus on other things during our interview.
I really want this job and I know I can add immense value to this company.
