Why is it that most companies are the following under the following categories…
Companies require years of experience
Companies don’t have English speaking staff (I’m starting to notice more job listings in America require you to speak a foreign language as well)
Companies constantly utilizing foreigners and underpaying them
Instant rejection to repost the same job again.
Interviews want a in person interview just for it to last less than 10 minutes..
As a 19 year old, what are we genuinely supposed to do? Building skills and certifications has done nothing over the years, every job is a ghost job, every job wants to underpay you..it’s bad!
If I wasn’t living with my parents, I’d be homeless right now! It dosent help that more people are moving to my area (Georgia, USA) either so that makes competition even more prevalent.
I’d love to better my life and get it started, sitting at home all day is boring. I’ve been looking for a job for TWO years and landed nothing. (I’m sure uou can thank the 2025 election for this recession that’s clearly worse than ever before)
Old people are out of touch too, they all are. No boomer, 2008 and the 60s isn’t the same as nowadays. You could actually work the bottom of the barrel back then, nowadays you can’t get a simple retail job.
Is it a population issue? Is it an economy issue? American leadership issue? In my instance, it’s all of the above.
Young people are suffering while older people are enjoying life.
I know this post was all over the place, but these are some facts I wanted to point out..
