Just a post to let you know it is possible to get hired!
I was laid off last year and quickly had to transition into a much lower paying lower management role just to have an income, and I’ve been working two jobs for the last year to get by. After 4 months of continuous applying, interviews, auto rejection letters - it finally happened.
I finally landed a great role with a team I mesh very well with and an excellent leader, with compensation very close to where I was pre-layoff. No more 7 days a week and praying I can pay my rent every month, or have my utilities cut off…again.
It was a slog, but it’s finally over.
