I’m not sure this fits here but I’m gonna try it.
Am I nuts here? I’m in my 40s and retired last year. I’ve been a cooking for a long time and worked my way up. The last few years I was the head at an upscale resort where I did more planning, management, supervision and training and very little cooking and just kind of lost interest. I’ve done very well for myself, we don’t need me to work.
Well for Christmas we had the biggest Christmas dinner I think our family has ever had and I cooked for 30+ and actually very much enjoyed it. I’ve alwyays enjoyed cooking for people.
I told her I want to go back and she thinks I’m insane and it’s a terrible idea.
Does this make sense to anyone else?
