I impulsively quit my last job (retail) and I have been searching for another entry level position for ages now.
I’m so exhausted by spending HOURS a day reading job descriptions (and the bullshit salary/benefits section that doesn’t apply to hourly associates) and giving them my information, only to be ghosted and have my fucking data sold.
The rare interviews are worse, I’m up to my neck in anxiety and spend valuable time preparing and commuting, only to be stuck in a group interview and outshined by someone with a more outgoing personality than me.
I am an undergraduate student and not only can I not get a decent job (I can’t work full time) but I can’t get internships or work in my field at all because I don’t have the experience or the availability. Looking for a job that’s actually going to hire me and not treat me like trash is literally impossible.
