I currently make $36 an hour at my job. I got an offer for another role at $80k. I told my boss I had an offer and did not give him the details. I told him he could make an offer to try to keep me. He came back with a plan for an immediate bump to $92k and a further bump to $102k in six months. I would like to work for this new company but the salary disparity is too great to do so right now. I am going to let them know I received a counter offer that is too good to pass up. Should I let them know the details of the offer?
