Ive been working for my current employer for 2 years. Ive done well, taken on extra responsibilities, getting my store to be the best one in our district. Im also getting paid next to nothing. Ive asked for a raise and was repeatedly denied. So I went and found another job. I got an offer for 1.50/hr more than what im making now. My current company has countered with a 2 dollar/hr offer.
When I asked for a promotion/raise letter, I was given the response in the image. Im worried theyre going to walk back the raise or just not give it to me if I say no to the new company. Thoughts?
