Hey guys,
I was an early bloomer withn a top college stamp and a masters degree. By 26 I have top internships across different sectors from finance to investment to social impact, and a full time experience abroad. Everything collapsed in 2020 during covid when I came home and declined my full time offer from Big 4 Advisory for personal reasons.
Six years have passed...I was entangled in chaotic family drama. At 32F, I have been trying to get back to the job market and my old path for 2 years. But every recruiter ghosted me. I wasn't slacking off, I was dealing with family drama, health issues and travel.
Is it impossible to get back to where I was before? I know i have 6 years gap, but before 26 I was in upward trajectory. I have checklist of everything.. did all the right things. Target school, right internships,...how can I get back if every door os closed? Ive been DMing partners and managers, but it seems the market has moved on. I am a big despair so any tips would help.
