Hi. I had a job offer not specific date but my finger prints were still clearing plus I didn’t signed any official contract or did the e-verify. I talked with the manager yesterday because I just wanted to get more insight about the day to day and the question of if I had put my two weeks in came up and I said no because I’m waiting for the official date and she didn’t seem to have any problem with that.
today the hr person called me to let me know they rescinded my offer because I haven’t quit my other job, and they needed someone ASAP. I mentioned I could talk with my manager with no problem and she told me pretty much no thank you, and good luck.
