I was laid off from my job that I was with for 10 years in April of 2025. 45 of my other coworkers were all laid off as well. I was heartbroken as I was with a startup company and felt like I had something precious ripped away from me. Private investors came in, promised everyone there would be no layoffs, and within a month most of the company was gone.
I have submitted 277 applications, have had about 10 interviews, countless rejection emails, have been ghosted after interviews and feel completely lost on what to do next. I’ve applied to entry level jobs and can’t even get a response, I’m not being picky whatsoever at this point I just need something, fcking anything.
I don’t have family to help me out, savings is almost completely gone and I’m in a panic every single day.
Does anyone have advice for me? I know the job market is tough but I never thought my life would be where it is right now. I’m on the brink of homelessness if something doesn’t turn around within the next two months.
