This morning we got an email from our CEO basically saying “people will be getting laid off due to the awful housing market”. He didn’t tell us when the layoffs will happen so everyone is just spending their weekend in panic.
What a great way to end the fucking weekend. Someone at my job just bought a house. Another person just had a kid. No one knows when/if they will get screwed over since HR didn’t give us any timeline.
