I am rewriting because at the time I was very livid and my post didn’t come out very easy to understand. I worked my scheduled 80 hours for the weeks, and had a couple days with some expected OT. 2 days of the pay period I worked a 10 & 12 hour shift. Making for a total of 86 hours that I should have been payed for. On top of that, I had came in after hours on 2 occasions, one being for around 30 minutes, and the other being about a hour out of the day. Meaning I should have had around 87 hours on my check. My job also requires me very often to stay a little later than my usual clock out time, usually only around 10-15 minutes. When I checked my pay statement, I seen my total hours were only 79.8, when I should have received more. When I confronted my boss about this, he explained to me that he took my overtime hours, and he changed ALL of my days I worked to 8:00-4:30 in the system. I was never informed about this change, and very upset about it. At our place of work, you are required as a boss to have a time adjustment paper statement that is signed by the employee and the boss, so legally, without problems there is proof of change, and to prevent things like this from happening. My pay period is for the 4th of the month to the 17th, and I just figured this out on the 23rd of the month. The fact he kept that from me and never informed me is worse. I am allowed OT at my job, and management has never had a problem with it, I am on call 24/7 for the week as well.
