Am I being oversensitive? I'm leaving a job I've had for almost eight years and one where it's always felt like a really close group of under 15 who like and support one another. Group texts with everyone where people share pictures of grandkids, travels, etc., people get together periodically for dinners, etc., and just generally a nice vibe. It was a hard choice to even leave because I felt so at home. I'm leaving soon and told them months ago so they've known. Another person is also leaving at the same time, though that person has been there longer than me and is higher up than me. We both got cards and gift cards, but that person is getting a big lunch out at their favorite restaurant with everyone, and I'm getting nothing. Like, apparently even at our last company meeting that is coming up soon there 'won't be time for anything' so the boss said a 2-minute 'thanks for everything' to me at the end of a Teams meeting with a couple of other staff this week. Does this seem weird? It's seriously making me feel like crap.
