two hours ago i got a phone call from HR, two hours after the work day was over. today was my last day as they’re doing budget cuts and my position was eliminated.
absolute gut punch that phone call was. i had finally found a job that i absolutely loved and cared so much about. i fought so hard for this position when i was interviewing and gave it my all.
they won’t even let me come back to my office to get my things.
