1PQE (post qualification experience/junior) criminal solicitor with little advocacy experience, Sydney.
Dream coy is ODPP, currently only have causal hybrid role as paralegal/solicitor for boutique firm exclusive in criminal. Love criminal and that’s really the only field I want to practise in.
Been around 8mths of job hunting with this casual job for a full time solicitor role in criminal.
Made it to talent pool for legal aid fam, and have a 75k+super with probationary period and possible rise after offer for generalist more commercial/family boutique firm.
Don’t really want to work there but it’s the only real offer I have atm. Should I take it or not and why?
