I interviewed and subsequently took a role of a quality and food safety manager for a cheese company that sounded fabulous. They sold it as a company that took food safety very seriously. I walk in to serious (think recall potential) micro issues, an issue this week that should have been a recall due to foreign material (my manager let the product go after I refused to release it), and a roach and mouse infestation issue. On top of that they exploit their employees. They hire people who would otherwise not be able to be hired and make them work long hours for very low wages in unsafe conditions. I have only been there for a month and am already looking for another job. I have another interview on Monday. If I get the job and it is a better fit I will take it. How do i quit after 4 weeks? I’ve never been in this situation?
