I loathe Workday as an applicant. It is repetitive, shit user interface, and just a terrible job application platform. I know it is made for employers, not employees, but having to constantly regurgitate your experience because employers don't have enough respect to use something more user-friendly is a huge red flag.
I was pleasantly surprised today when I put off doing another Workday app for a job I was interested in. I did the normal shenanigans and expected the BS once I shared my resume. INSTEAD, it skipped the step of re-entering your entire resume and went to the next question. I was floored. I actually went back to see if I missed something. NOPE. Companies can opt out of making applicants input their resumes manually, but they CHOOSE not to. Lesson learned.
