I have a colleague at work that has been intensifying his behavior towards me that last two weeks weve been working together. It started with asking me personal questions about my relationship status and my past relationships. He then moved on to suggesting we do activities together outside of work.
On Monday, he informed me that his parents are under the impression I am his girlfriend. He also informed me that he "came to visit me" on Sunday and that I was on my lunch. When I casually stated thats probably why I missed him, he replied. "You took a very late lunch."
Also on Monday, during our shift, we where casually talking about dinner and I mentioned that "We" where planning on having ground beef and he snapped. "Who's we?"
He also texted me after my shift was over asking me if I had already left work.
I want to be clear that I have only known him for less then a month and have no intention of interacting with him outside of a professional manner.
I guess I'm asking if I have enough to seek mediation from HR on this matter, as I'm not comfortable having a private conversation with him to set very clear boundaries.
