Is this a normal hiring process for KFC?

Today I went into KFC after seeing a hiring poster and asked if I could get an application. The manager came out and said they didn't have any applications, but asked if I could work at 1 AM without really explaining the hours. I said yes. He then said he could get me started on online training.

He didn't ask for my résumé or explicitly confirm that I was hired, but he wrote down his personal Gmail address and told me to email him my SSN ID, and void cheque information before I could start online training. The whole conversation was maybe five minutes, and when I asked about interviews, he said they don't do interviews there.

I'm wondering if this is normal for fast food hiring, or if it's a little unusual. It just felt kind of off, because everything happened so fast? But genuinely, I might be overthinking it. I'm not even sure if this means I'm actually hired or not.
