I hate myself.
2 days ago I had an interview for a part time job, which I didn't think went particularly well, but the next day I received a call from the Hiring Manager and she wanted to inform me about the interview. Problem is, when she called me I was in the college testing center so I couldn't answer. When I got out I attempted to call her twice at different times and she was unavailable. I sent an email promising I would be available any time the next day after 12 PM and she could call me.
Today pathetic self decided to take a nap because I was tired after the week, and promptly passed out for like 3 hours. Once again, I woke up to find I had received a call and missed it. When attempting to call back, no one answered. Office hours for the company won't be available until Monday.
I've applied to over 40 jobs the past few months and this job was pretty much my last hope. I've almost run out of savings and will not have enough money for food and rent for the rest of the semester. I think if I had been rejected, she would have just sent me an email instead of trying to call me.
Is there anything I could possibly say in an email to redeem myself or am I completely screwed?
