So yesterday I had an interview. I researched about the company etc. the opportunity was brought to me by a friend, so it was kinda like a referral thing.
So i go in, and they tell me to wait at a couch and stuff...the HR guy walks in, introduces himself and tells me to sit tight. He calls a woman, and he himself goes to a different office to talk with another guy (I could see cause the place was all glass between the offices.) The woman comes and sits with me, she was apparently the team leader for that position. She didnt ask me anything. She just told me, tell me about your experience and nothing else. I told her about my work experience, how i took some initiatives etc. KPIs and all sorts of things. Then the other HR guy comes back and sits with us and asks me when will I be available. I told him early January cause thats when i'll be let go from my current job. He said ok, we'll email you near the end of the month.
Im confused. There were no questions about the company, no questions about soft skills, nothing. I feel like they just did the interview cause they had to. They showed no interest at all.
Thoughts?
