I can not find a job and I am tired of these job applications wasting my time. I tailor my resume, type the mandatory cover later, submit my application, wait a week. "congratulations you got selected to take a pre-employment screening." I take the 30 minute test, wait a week for a result. "congrations you passed the test a hiring manager will reach out to you if you are selected for an interview" All of that time spent on an application and it is still not guaranteed that I will talk to an actual person about why I think I am qualified for their mediocre position that barely pays above minimum wage. I can't get a job a grocery store, I can't get a job doing the most BASIC WORK. Oh AND I recently spent a month of my life slaving at UPS for them to lay me off because there wasn't enough work after christmas even though my position title said PERMANENT when I applied. I am struggling so much I do not know what I am going to do when february comes around and I have to pay rent. I hate my life :(
