Hello, I’m 25 years old.
I’ve been working as a freelance video editor and colorist.
But I’ve realized that this industry doesn’t pay very well and isn’t stable, especially as a freelancer.
So now I’m thinking about getting a full-time position in a different industry.
The problem is, I don’t have any background, and I don’t know what to do.
My body is weak and I get sick easily, so I can’t do physical jobs like mining or construction.
Since I want to work remotely, I started studying basic IT skills, beginning with CompTIA A+.
But all of my friends tell me that these jobs will be replaced by AI, so studying this is just a waste of time and money.
I don’t think I can live my whole life with just basic certifications like this.
I just want to learn things step by step, eventually build valuable skills, maybe discover a new interest, and enjoy life.
Of course, being replaced by AI is something we can easily imagine.
But then what should people do if they have no background and are trying something new?
Do they have no future because of AI?
Are physical jobs the only option left?
I feel really lost in my life right now.
