It’s been over four months since I was laid off, and honestly, my confidence is hitting rock bottom. I’ve applied to basically every role in LA County that fits my skill set, but it feels like no one is actually hiring. At this point, I’m starting to wonder if these listings are even real or just some elaborate scheme to harvest our data. It’s just so incredibly draining to put yourself out there constantly and get nothing back; I’m feeling pretty burnt out and empty lately.
