I work on a remote setting. My colleagues, bosses and I usually wish happy bday to each other on the group chat. We have a relatively more recent coworker and I did the usual happy bday message.
Weirdly nobody replied, neither to wish happy bday to coworker, neither coworker replied to me (I even doible checked the group members - everyone was there).
I am not overthinking it, but curious to understand. I think I will leave that habit quiet from now on, but would like to hear opinions on the potential reason behind. The total lack of acknowledgement made me feel slightly silly to be honest. My goal was just to keep good environment, with a little human touch. Nothing fancy.
Just for comparison, I got warm happy bday wishes from everyone.
