Im feeling blessed. I have read a lot of your job search horror stories. I was employed with the same company for 25 years. I was a Senior Technician for the last 15 of them. I had seen multiple regime changes in management over the years, some good, some not so good. The latest was a Napoleon-esque change for the worse. I didn’t want to have to re-prove my worth yet once again, especially to this asshole. So, I got established with a few recruiters. I landed a new job super fast, only took two interviews. It was hard to say goodbye to a company and co-workers that I liked, and some have know for 20 plus years. But I took the leap. Started the new job, and was excited. I’m literally in a conference room alone, On-Boarding with the new company when my cell rings from another recruiter with my dream job. A month and a half later, I have landed my dream job.
