I have graduated with my bachelor’s in cybersecurity in December 2023 and was lucky to get my first IT job Feb 2024 as a contractor. I worked there for almost two years and then they were not able to extend my contract. I was unemployed for 2 months in 2025 the applied to my current job as an entry level call center to get income. I notice once I accepted the job they opened the IT position within a a few weeks. I reached out the IT department to introduce myself and they said to reach out to the director. I had my 2 interviews in Dec 2025 and just recently accepted the job offer. Based on improving metrics and my initial strong interview. I feel lucky twice! Just wanted to share since I feel like getting IT jobs is a lot harder now and I manage to get through
