i remember my first job as a bus boy. paper application at the restaurant. but to have a linked in, go through monster, indeed, etc. just for this? i get those looking for these jobs grew up with technology, but seems over the top for slave wages.
the whole job search system is broken and now we are bringing ai in to it. most hr people do not know how to properly use technology either.
sorry for the rant, but in light of all the layoffs, i am really hating big corps .
