I've worked at this job for about 6 months and the clock in and out machine has never worked so our boss just types in the time we are scheduled to get there and time we are scheduled to get off.
but, i write my hours down because i'm closing and i wash dishes and i leave whenever i'm done. but i've finally noticed all my hours come out as a even number no matter what.
none of my paystubs have ever had a 8.2 hours or 9.3 hours it's always be a straight 8 or 9. I don't believe i'm getting compensated right. simply because I never break a $1,000 paycheck every 2 weeks and i very much should be for how much i work. i have already talked to him about it but doesn't even much to care about it.
Is there anything I can do about it than just to write down the times i clock in and out and do the math to compare my hours to my paycheck?
