Im 17, (still a junior in hs) ive been working at a fast food place since late january. I like it and hate it at the same time and i wasnt going to quit until finding a new job but me and my family are going on a trip this weekend and im scheduled to work both days. I know it sounds stupid to quit your job for a trip but i have all summer to find a new job and im slower at understanding things so ive been starting to think fast food isnt for me. The supervisor had to correct me after making the same mistake twice and that isnt the first time that happened. My availability is also 3 days a week because those are the only days my dad can take me and i started off working 3 days but theyve only been scheduling me one day a week lately and thats not the first time they did that. The only reason why im working 2 days this week is bc someone asked if i could pick up their shift. and this isnt the first time they did that, at one point i was so ready to quit because they were giving me one shift a week and telling me to clock out 1-2 hours earlier then scheduled. The only reason i didnt quit is because of a class i was taking at school. How do i go about doing this? i know i have to show up and give them my uniform and nametag but can i just send the manager a polite email and go in and ask them to give the manager my uniform
