Hi guys. I started a new job last Monday. Ive been there a week now, but have only worked five official shifts. Its a vet clinic and its definitely NOT what I expected. I have been very happy at my other clinics, but I moved to a new state and needed a job and this one seemed perfect. I just dont agree with their medicinal practice and ethics of care, not to mention, I dont get along wonderfully with everyone there and Im usually very outgoing. I know Im the newbie, but Im pretty targeted and excluded from a lot of things. Im also uncomfortable because I got ZERO training and was thrown into taking rooms, and worst of all, doing surgery with no experience. I also dont get a lunch break and have been going 8+ hours without a snack or even a bathroom break.
Needless to say, Id like to leave. How do I do this? Im such a weenie about doing things in person lol. Is a text too inappropriate, just stating it isnt a good fit for me? I dont plan on adding this job to my resume whatsoever.
