I was recently laid off from my previous employer. I am pregnant and due in 2 months. However, I cannot afford in this economy to just rely on my partners income so I am actively applying for jobs.
At an interview for a remote job that I would like to keep for post partum, do I mention the pregnancy? I am aware 3 months off is unrealistic if I want to be kept by any job. Do I disclose the pregnancy and mention I would only take 3-4 weeks off and after that I’ll have my mother in law who is retired watching the baby at home while I work?
I am so scared.
