Yah ...as the title says..I started working yesterday in a dog daycare as a front desk. It was so chaotic with dogs checking in checking out, barking , coaches and managers relaying- yelling on walkie taklie, pp calling on phone etc ..I was being trained by assistant manager. On my first day itself she told me this is a trial week and I would have to be certified at the end of my first week and then I can continue there. I told her this was never mentioned in the interview on that she said but every company checks if the employee is able to receive the training well and can do the Job. I told her yes, that's why companies have probation period !! But that's usually 1 or 3 month long. But on my very second day I was called in managers office and told that I am not doing great. They need more clarity in my communication. Trainers are unable to understand me over walkies. I told them this is my very first time working in such setting and with walkies. But they told me we have to let u go. I am so disappointed and heartbroken.. after so long .. being unemployed for a long time I had got this job in this sick market. I don't have the courage to open LinkedIn adm start search again. I am devastated Just ranting so I can feel better.
