I have been having the absolute worst luck when it comes within the past 7 months. I have been working seasonal gigs and part time jobs all of this year barely making it. I finally found a job position in my field with decent pay. Went through three rounds of interviews and I was offered the job. I was sooo excited and was in the middle of emailing back and forth about my schedule. Until about 30 minutes ago, I get an email from the hiring manager saying “Hello, we actually decided to go in a different direction and won’t be needing you. Best of luck!”
At this point I’m not even mad, I’m just mentally exhausted and defeated. I am literally breaking my back working three minimum wage jobs Monday - Sunday. I make just enough to pay my rent and I am trying so hard.
I hate this job market and this economy.
