I am so freaking happy! After 111 days of job hunting, over 400 applications, over 25 interviews, countless emails to follow up, and very little response from prospective employers, I finally got the call I was waiting for: we have an offer for you.
Granted, it’s not the job I wanted or in my desired field. Buts it’s *a* job. And sadly, even though it’s not in a professional career like my last position, it will pay more than my last position. And right now, that’s what I care about. Being able to pay my bills.
So don’t give up! Things work out the way they’re supposed to. I applied for this job—overnight supervisor at a large gas station company known for their made to order food—as a last ditch effort to have some kind of income. But it’s going to save me. Full time, benefits, and good pay.
