Had my final interview for a manager-level role on Friday 8/28. The recruiter reached out Monday 8/31 saying they were finalizing their decision over the next 1–2 weeks and asked me to reconfirm comp expectations, bonus timing, and a few other logistics.
After I responded, she said she hoped to be in touch “no later than next week.”
It’s now Tuesday 9/8 and nothing. I know there was a holiday weekend and I’m technically still within the timeline, but I’m starting to feel like if I got it, I would’ve heard by now.
Would you assume it’s a no at this point and move on, or am I overthinking the timeline?
