so, a month or two ago I reached out to a nail salon asking about a job. at the time. I was supposed to get my license relatively soon, it took a little longer because my school kind of messed it up.
anyway, the place calls me yesterday and says that they're interested. I should have my license by the end of the month. where I'm at, places will hire you before you get your license as long as you graduated and usually have you work behind the desk.
however, the wording was weird and I'm not sure if I'm starting a job or if I'm just doing an interview? also he has a very thick accent so I'm worried I missed something in translation.
here's how the call went:
"How soon can you come in?"
"I have a temp job right now. I can come in the 13th, though."
"okay, see you then."
"is there a specific time you'd like me to come in?"
"we open at 10am."
"perfect, I'll be there!"

normally I wouldn't stress so much, and I just wait until the day of to figure it out. But I've been unemployed for a while and recently started working over night shifts at a McDonald's to pay my expenses. obviously I haven't been having a great time. I just want to know how soon I can finally go into my career, I'm so excited and I've been waiting for so long.
