So today I had an interview at Taco Bell. It was only like a 5–6 minute Uber ride, so getting there wasn’t a problem at all. I went in, asked for a manager, and told them I was there for an interview. The hiring manager came out and started asking me the usual interview questions about my experience and stuff. Then he asked if I had reliable transportation. I didn’t lie, I told him I don’t drive, but I literally live down the street from the Taco Bell. He went on this whole rant about how he prefers people with cars and straight up told me, “come back when you have a car.” I was honestly kind of taken aback because… how am I supposed to get a car without a job? Anyways, now I’m back in bed scrolling through Indeed again 🤦🏽♀️
