I've been working with this marketing client for about 6 months managing their social media accounts. My hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday, but they regularly message me Saturday nights or Sunday mornings asking me to post stories or respond to DMs. This isn't in my contract and I don't get paid for it.
What makes it more frustrating is that they have no idea what goes into managing these accounts, aren't logged into any of them, and still set unreasonable expectations. I've tried not responding or replying later, but they just keep messaging or call multiple times. I've told them directly that I'm not available on weekends due to other commitments and they still continue.
Has anyone dealt with a client like this? How did you handle it?
