Like the commenter stated, I’m sure it’s easy to frame your unemployment as a time of “momentum” and “strategy” when you’ve fallen back on years worth of C-suite level salaries. If the average North American employee, across any industry were to lose their job today, they wouldn’t have the savings nor the cushion to view their unemployment as a time of momentum or strategy, they’d be in a desperate bid of survival battling homelessness among other things.
