So I work at a pizzeria/restaurant at the counter. Minimum wage in NY for tipped employees is $16 an hour and we make $10 an hour. We make tips yes , but it’s counter not like we are making tips like an average waitress. We do get paid in cash though , so not sure if that makes up for it or how that would work ? What can I do aside from quit ? I more so am worried about my co workers who are all underage and HUGELY taken advantage of in more ways then just this.
